Cheryl was born in Atlanta, GA, attended Vanderbilt University and worked in marketing and advertising. She has lived in Nashville for 29 years and has experience in design, renovation and property management.
Finding the right home for her client is her top priority. Personalized service, attention to detail, and knowledge of the market allow Cheryl to effectively serve her clients’ needs. Whether it be finding the perfect home or preparing a property for market, Cheryl’s goal is to make the process as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. She has the skills to be a thoughtful and diligent client advocate and is committed to using her energy, resources and knowledge to negotiate the best outcome.
Community involvement: She has been involved with the Junior League of Nashville, Friends of the Children’s Hospital, Delta Delta Delta Alumnae, Rally Foundation for Cancer Research- Auction Committee, Christ Presbyterian Church and was the Late Party Chair for the Swan Ball. In 2016, she chaired the Eve of Janus Ball (benefiting the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt) and currently serves on the Eve of Janus Board. Cheryl was the Founder and Board Chair (2013-2015) of the Mother Daughter Serving Circle –serving at Project Redesign, St Paul’s Senior Living, Second Harvest Food Bank, Salvation Army, and the Rescue Mission.
She has chaired numerous alumni and parent events and school committees at Ensworth, MBA and Vanderbilt. Cheryl has hosted the “Welcome to Vanderbilt Party” for Freshmen and their parents the night before move-in day for the past eleven years. She also co-hosts the UT Welcome Party for Freshmen in Nashville along with hosting the Tailgate in Knoxville for the Nashville Parents of UT students.
Personal: Cheryl and her husband, Jody, have been married 33 years and have three children- Walton, a wireless software engineer in Nashville, Jake, a business consultant at Bain in Dallas and Margo who will start working as a nurse at Georgetown Hospital this summer. Cheryl also enjoys all sports, especially watching Vanderbilt and UT games, and taking walks with her dog Honey.
