Rob Bearden
A native Nashvillian, Rob Bearden attended Montgomery Bell Academy and graduated from Belmont University with a BS in Psychology. Rob came to the real estate business after a 14 year career in banking where he worked for Renasant Bank (formerly Capital Bank & Trust) in Nashville. During his time in banking, Rob specialized in numerous real estate-related areas, including real estate lending, property valuation, and bank-owned properties. During the last recession, he managed and sold hundreds of REO properties on behalf of the bank. Using the knowledge gained from conducting countless short sales and foreclosures, Rob became an appraisal specialist in the bank’s credit department.
In 2019, Rob brought this experience to the real estate industry, where he joined his wife, Shelly Bearden, a broker at Fridrich & Clark Realty. Together they live in Forest Hills where they are raising their three boys, two dogs, two gerbils, one hermit crab, and one still-missing pet snake.
Rob enjoys running and hiking at Radnor Lake, coaching youth sports, and cheering on his favorite sports teams – the Nashville Predators, Georgia Bulldogs, and Tennessee Titans. He is a board member with the Tennessee Chapter of the American Cancer Society and the Blake McMeans Foundation. Rob is actively involved with Habitat for Humanity and Montgomery Bell Academy. He and Shelly attend Woodmont Christian Church.
