My residential real estate career was the unexpected offspring of an 11 year stint in advertising on Chicago’s Michigan Ave. While working in Chicago, I developed a new business venture that received Fortune 500 corporate funding and required a large commercial real estate component. That venture was unfortunately derailed by the financial implications of 9-11 and the acquisition of the company that funded me. Go figure. Life takes you on some funny journeys.
Along the way, I learned a lot about real estate and met some influential folks. I decided, after the adrenalin rush of standing in front of several corporate CEOs and the Mayor of Chicago to discuss my venture, that advertising simply wasn’t exciting enough to return to — I needed to run my own business. Through my contacts I was introduced to residential development and sales; and that was that. I loved it. I’ve been practicing residential real estate for nearly 20 years now and I’m as enthusiastic about it today as the day I started. In Chicago I worked as a relocation expert for management consulting firm McKinsey & Company and as a sales manager for a residential and commercial development firm specializing in high-end, unique properties. I’ve marketed and sold just about every type of property out there, to include single family new construction, historic properties, row homes, condominium developments, town homes, lofts, and weekend getaway cottages.
A move to California ten years ago provided an opportunity to embrace another big city, learn new neighborhoods and forge new relationships. Within three years of landing in LA, I was ranked as one of Pasadena’s leading agents. In 2015 I joined a team at Coldwell Banker that ranked in the top 20 of the nation’s largest producers.
Now we’ve moved again, and I’m thrilled to be working in Nashville. My success in real estate is due to precise detail management and negotiation, market knowledge, strong peer relations in the brokerage community, and an acute focus on my clients’ goals. I love the palpable energy and growth that is swirling in Nashville and I look forward to making a meaningful difference in my clients’ lives and being a part of the fast growing Fridrich and Clark Realty community. Let’s go home!
