John Morrissey

A native Nashvillian, John attended Montgomery Bell Academy and The University of the South (Sewanee), where he graduated with a degree in Political Science. John played 3 sports at MBA, and continued his love of sports while playing basketball and baseball at Sewanee. After his time at Sewanee, John moved back to Nashville and began a career in the Banking and Mortgage business.

John came to real estate after 25+ years in finance. He maintains his license (NMLS) as a mortgage professional in TN. John practically grew up in the real estate business – his father, Jimmy Morrissey, was a trusted real estate professional in Nashville for over 50 years. John brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of this market from his many years in Nashville and in the area of finance.

John is the father of two grown children, Mackinnon and Elliott, who attended Ensworth High School and Montgomery Bell Academy, respectively. They both live and work in Nashville. John is also the proud grandfather of Jack Doleac.
