Joan Cheek

Joan is a native of Middle Tennessee, and attended Middle Tennessee State University. She has been in real estate for 32 years – first licensed as a Realtor in 1990, and earned her Broker’s license in 2006.  Joan has effectively marketed properties in all price ranges and worked with builders, developers, new construction, commercial, condominiums, single-family homes, estates and farms.

Prior to her real estate career, Joan was a location manager for film production in Tennessee, Charleston, Atlanta, New Orleans, and other locations.

Joan has served on the board at Renewal House, Belcourt Theatre, TEC (Tennessee Environmental Council), Watkins College of Art and Cheekwood Estate and Gardens. She is currently a Trustee Emeritus at Cheekwood.
