Robert Diehl

A seventh generation Nashvillian and product of Metro Nashville Public Schools and Vanderbilt University, Robert Diehl has an extensive knowledge of the city.

After a six year stint in the music business, Robert enjoyed a lengthy career in advertising. He transitioned to real estate in 2001 — spending 23+ years at Village Real Estate prior to joining Fridrich & Clark Realty in 2024.

Robert grew up in Green Hills and has never strayed far from there. He and his wife Sallie have lived in the same house in Oak Hill since 1993. They love to walk in their Stonewall neighborhood.

Individual pursuits include:

  • Coached Little League Baseball for six years.
  • Played softball in various Metro Leagues until he was 50 years old.
  • Served on the Tennessee Environmental Council’s Board of Directors for 15 years – including four years as President.
  • Served as a Mayoral Appointee on the Davidson County Solid Waste Region Board for 24 years, where he was instrumental in helping create Nashville’s Zero Waste Master Plan.
  • Ten years on the City of Oak Hill Planning Commission.
  • Current member of the City of Oak Hill Board of Zoning Appeals.
