A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Elizabeth started her professional life as a newspaper reporter and business columnist for The Nashville Banner. She is the co-author of a best-selling book on ethical business leadership, The Transparency Edge: How Credibility Can Make or Break You in Business (McGraw-Hill), which was translated into four languages and chosen by Fast Company magazine as a book of the month.
Elizabeth lives in Nashville with her husband, John, their son, Liam, and his adopted sister from China, Lucy Mei. She is an active member of West End United Methodist Church and serves as chair of the church’s board of trustees.
