Elizabeth and John also have 10+ years of experience investing in and managing rental properties and hold a diversified portfolio in Tennessee, Alabama, and South Carolina.

 

A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Elizabeth started her professional life as a newspaper reporter and business columnist for The Nashville Banner. She is the co-author of a best-selling book on ethical business leadership, “The Transparency Edge: How Credibility Can Make or Break You in Business” (McGraw-Hill), which was translated into four languages and chosen by Fast Company magazine as a book of the month. Her background in executive coaching and leadership development provides a deep bag of skills she uses to exceed expectations and help clients navigate difficult decisions.

 

Elizabeth lives in Nashville with her husband, their son, Liam, and his adopted sister from China, Lucy Mei. She is an active member of West End United Methodist Church, where she served as chair of the church’s board of trustees, and she currently serves on the board of The Linden Waldorf School, where her children both attend.
