Cissy Akers

Buying or selling a house can be a daunting experience. Important decisions often have to be made in a matter of hours that may affect your family for years. I’m a native Nashvillian and know an abundance about two sections of town, Area 2, which includes Vanderbilt, Green Hills, Belle Meade, Forest Hills, Hillwood, Bellevue, and Sylvan Park and Area 10, which includes Franklin and Brentwood. I was raised in this part of town, and my expertise can be invaluable in helping you make the right decisions.

I am very detail oriented and will get you happily to closing. Finding the home and the buyer is only part of a real estate transaction. I have a reputation for being extremely good at negotiation. The real work for me starts after there is a signed contract. You have to get through inspections, financing, contingencies…and it all leads to a successful closing.

Working with buyers

Patience and a good ear seem to pay off. I really try to listen to what my clients want. My first questions usually are, “Describe to me the perfect home for you.” Why not start there?” As you talk, I try to imagine the correct neighborhood, yard, and style of home you’re describing. I can narrow it down by doing a lot of the legwork on my own. I may look at dozens of houses before I show you one, trying to find the perfect choices. Why go see Ranches if Historic is your dream?

Working with sellers

Crucial to successfully selling a house is knowing the market and being able to pick the correct price your house will sell for. When you list a house with Fridrich & Clark, you’re not getting help from one agent, you’re getting the entire office. Fridrich & Clark agents help each other!

It’s not uncommon for a dozen agents to visit a potential listing to assist in helping you determine the ideal price. Often, another agent within our firm sells a house before ever officially going on the market.

Rolling up your sleeves to help an owner stage a house is part of the fun. My remodeling background makes me particularly good at this. It’s important to get the house right before the first buyer walks through the door. Networking, open houses, advertising, professional brochures all contribute to selling your home in a timely fashion.
